At Accurate
Transcription, we are constantly looking for highly
qualified and motivated transcriptionists. We offer
our transcriptionists competitive pay for high
quality production. Pay is production-based, not
hourly or salary. Transcription is paid by the line,
including any lines produced with word expanders.
All applicants must have knowledge of Word. Pay
cycle is biweekly via direct deposit.

At Home Medical
Transcriptionist: Must have at least 3+ years
experience in hospital or clinic setting with
knowledge of all facets of medical
transcription, 24 hour turnaround required.
Q&A
Do I have to be
certified? We encourage transcriptionists to
seek certification, but certification is not a
prerequisite to hire. We do require 3+ years
experience in a hospital or service setting.
What are
the technical requirements?

A high speed
internet connection in the form of DSL,
cable, or T1. Satellite connections are
generally incompatible with our system.

Microsoft
Windows 2000, Windows XP. Our system is NOT
COMPATIBLE with Macintosh computers.

Microsoft
Word (version 2000, 2002, XP, or 2003).
How much
work would I be responsible for?
Transcriptionists
are required to transcribe a minimum of 30
minutes of dictation 5 days per week.
How much
time do I have to do the work?
Turnaround time
to most clients is 24 hours. Some accounts have
a shorter turnaround time. The specific
turnaround time will vary from account to
account, based on the requirements of the
client.
Will I
have to transcribe for doctors with accents?
Depending on the
account you are assigned to, there could be
doctors who speak English as a second language
(ESL).
